BritSpine, the UK Spine Societies combined Conference and Exhibition is returning for 2027, and will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales on 21–23 April 2027

The event will bring the spine community together once again for three days of shared learning, discussion and collaboration.

Planning is fully underway, with the Organising Committee focused on delivering a high-quality programme that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of spine care. Building on the strong foundations of previous meetings, BritSpine 2027 will continue to provide a forum for clinical education, research exchange and professional development across the full spectrum of spine care and research.

Abstract submissions for BritSpine 2027 are now open!
We welcome submissions covering research, clinical practice, service development, innovation, education and other areas relevant to spinal care. Visit the Abstracts page for full guidance and to submit your abstract before the deadline of Wednesday 20 January 2027 at 23:59 (UK time).

/ what is britspine?

BritSpine is the UK's premier educational Conference and Exhibition on the topic of the Spine, brings experts together from all over the UK (and further afield!) to gather, network, promote and share knowledge while learning about the latest treatments and approaches in spine healthcare and research.

The roots of BritSpine date back to the inaugural combined meeting of the British Spinal Societies in 1999. Since then, the conference has evolved to a biennial event run by the UK Spine Societies Board (UKSSB) on behalf of, and involvement with the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS), British Scoliosis Society (BSS), Society of Back Pain Research (SBPR), National Spine Network (NSN) and the British Association of Spinal Cord Injury Specialists (BASCIS).
